Our mission is simple: to bring together incredible independent fantasy and romantasy authors from around the world and connect them with readers who love magical worlds, unforgettable characters, and epic adventures.
Every book you'll find here has been written by a passionate independent author. Alongside our books, you'll also discover handcrafted fantasy-inspired creations made by talented artists we proudly call our Tinkers. Every product is created by real people, with real passion, and never with the use of artificial intelligence.
Oakheart Bookshop is more than an online bookshop. It's a community built to celebrate independent creators, support small businesses, and help readers discover hidden gems they might never have found anywhere else.

Our biggest dream is to open a physical Oakheart Bookshop - a magical place where fantasy comes to life.
Before we can make that dream a reality, we're looking for wonderful indie gems and talented Tinkers to join us from the very beginning. Independent authors and creators are the heart of Oakheart, and we want to build this journey together.
Our first step is launching this online shop, followed by a pop-up bookshop in Copenhagen to help raise funds for our permanent home.
We imagine a place where readers can browse incredible indie books, discover handmade fantasy-inspired treasures, enjoy a cup of coffee, and spend time with friends surrounded by a magical atmosphere.
A place where book lovers can truly feel at home. If you're an independent author writing fantasy, romantasy, adventure fantasy, cosy fantasy, dark fantasy, queer romantasy, or urban fantasy, we'd love to hear from you.
If you're one of our talented Tinkers, creating fantasy-inspired products by hand or digitally without the use of artificial intelligence, we'd love to showcase your work as well.
